If  you have a love of horses, horseback riding, wilderness and nature, you have come to the right place.  Mesa Verde Back Country Horsemen (MVBCH) is a chapter of the "Back Country Horsemen of America".  We are located near Mesa Verde National Park, in Cortez, Colorado.  We seek to  perpetuate the enjoyable use of horses and mules in the back country.  MVBCH also assists government agencies in the maintenance and management of our country's resources.

We educate, encourage, and solicit active public participation in wise and sustaining use of horses by people, in accordance with our heritage and back country resources.
